    WideOpenWest Buys Communications Provider SIGECOM

    Englewood, Colorado-based WideOpenWest has purchased SIGECOM LLC, a provider of bundled communications services in Indiana. WideOpenWest said that the purchase of SIGECOM is being made from Utilicom Networks LLC, which is backed by The Blackstone Group and Vectren Corp. Terms were not disclosed. WideOpenWest is owned by Avista Capital Partners a private equity firm that recently acquired the firm. SIGECOM was advised by Waller Capital, and WideOpenWest was advised by Credit Suisse.
