Groople Names CEO Denver-based Groople said that it has named a new CEO. Michael Stacy has joined the company as CEO from CheapTickets, where he was president. Founder David Loy will continue as President of the firm. Groople is building an online group travel booking web site that allows travel groups to book airfare, hotels, cars, bus, an rail. Stacy has also previously served at Cendant as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for the company's Retail Travel Services group and also served at Travelocity.
