Boulder-based FreeWave Technologies, the developer of spread spectrum and licensed radios being used for data transmissions in the industrial market and other industries, reported a win today with Parker Water and Sanitation District. FreeWave said its radios will be used for real-time monitoring and transmission of data across 43 square miles of Parker, where the district serves the equivalent of 17,000 single family homes.
