Lindon, Utah-based Footnote.com, which operates an online collection of historical documents, announced today that it is opening up all of its U.S. census documents for free for a limited time. The site--which caters to people researching their family history and genealogy--said the additional information will help its users find people related to ancestors in historical documents. The firm did not say how long it would be making the census information available to users for free.
