Albuquerque, New Mexico-based venture capital firm Flywheel Ventures has seen a big exit in its porfolio, after Astria Semiconductor Holdings, the parent firm of MicroProbe, was acquired in a $116.8M deal. FormFactor, a developer of semiconductor testing tools, said it merged with Astria in a deal worth $100M in cash plus $16.8M in stock. As part of the announcement, FormFactor disclosed that Astria/MicroProbe had revenues of $87.3M in the fiscal year ended December 31, 2011. MicroProbe's investors included Flywheel Ventures, Gemini Investors, and Intel Capital.
