eTelecare Lands Inbound Sales Contract
Business process outsourcing firm eTelecare Global Solutions revealed Thursday that it will provide inbound sale services for an international software developer. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company did not divulge the name of its new client, nor did it disclose the financial impact of the service agreement. However, eTelecare did say the customer is one of the world’s largest software providers. eTelecare added that it will conduct sales calls and live Internet chats from delivery centers in the United States and the Philippines with individuals and small businesses. John Harris, eTelecare's president and chief executive, said his company was selected partly because of an expectation to deliver "measurably higher" sales conversion rates than the client's current outsourced providers.
