Littleton, Colorado-based Echostar and search engine giant Google announced this morning that the two are in a partnership to introduce a new, automated system for buying, selling, delivering, and measuring television ads. The new system, which is being deployed on EchoStar DISH Network, is the first entry of Google into the television advertising space. According to the firms, Google will have access to a portion of DISH Network's advertising inventory. Echostar operates the DISH satellite broadcasting network.
