Salt Lake City, Utah-based DriverTech, a manufacturer of onboard computers and communications systems for the trucking industry, said Monday that it has added a new tri-mode, satellite communications platform with support for satellite, cellular, and Wi-Fi communications. The firm said that its new DT400 platform provides ORBCOMM satellite coverage. DriverTech's systems are used by truck carriers to manage fleet operations and for messaging.
