Josh James, co-founder of Omniture and currently heading up American Fork, Utah-based Domo, and Omniture buyer Adobe Systems have just settled a lawsuit over James' departure from Adobe, according to the Salt Lake Tribune this weekend. Adobe had sued James after he left the firm, after the company bought Utah's Omniture, the developer of web analytics software. Adobe apparently sued James over the hiring of former Omniture employees at Domo, his new startup. Financial details of the settlement were not disclosed by the companies or in legal filings. Domo is developing software-as-a-service products focused on business intelligence.
