Domo, Josh James' New Company, Scores $33M

Salt Lake City-based Domo, the business intelligence startup headed by Omniture co-founder Josh James, has raised $33M in a funding round, the firm said last night. The firm said the round came from Benchmark Capital, and brings the total invested in the company to $43M. Matt Cohler of Benchmark has joined Domo's board of directors as part of the funding. The funding announcement is the first time that James has revealed the new name of his company; he'd earlier dangled $10,000 to anyone who could decrypt a formula of the new name of the company. It's unclear if anyone was able to figure out the name from the formula. More information »
