Phoenix, Arizona-based DDC-I, a developer of embedded development tools, said this morning that its compilers and development suite now work with the Wind River VxWorks real-time operating system. VxWorks is the market leading embedded development environment used by embedded equipment manufacturers to develop applications based on the VxWorks real-time operating systems (RTOS) . DDC-I said that it has integrated its tools within the Wind River Workbench environment, allowing developers to develop mixed Ada, C, and Embedded C++ applications on VxWorks. DDC-I's SCORE optimizing compilers support Ada, C, Embedded C++, and Fortran77.
