CSG Names New CEO
CSG Systems International Inc., a provider of outsourced billing and customer care for the cable industry, reported Monday that Edward C. Nafus, the company's president and chief executive officer, plans to retire at the end of the year after nearly 10 years of service. The Englewood, Colo.-based company said Peter Kalan, currently executive vice president of corporate and business development, has been named Nafus' successor and has also been appointed to the board of directors. Nafus will continue to serve on the board, CSG said, until his term expires in mid-2010. Kalan, CSG noted, has held various senior and executive management roles for the company in the 11 years he has worked there. Prior to becoming executive vice president, he served as chief financial officer, CSG added.
