CellTrust Acquires Canada's PrimeMessage
CellTrust Corporation of Scottsdale, Arizona, has acquired Canada's PrimeMessage, CellTrust reported Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but CellTrust did say that PrimeMessage will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and will remain in Canada with all existing employees. CellTrust develops security software for mobile electronics like cell phones and handhelds. PrimeMessage provides a secure-messaging gateway to 86 countries and more than 400 carriers with clients in various markets, including travel, technology, real estate and hospitality. According to CellTrust, the acquisition of PrimeMessage will grant CellTrust's customers access to any wireless user, even those without data capability.
