A new, Boise, Idaho-based angel investment fund, Capital City Angel Fund, disclosed this week that it has raised $850,000 as part of the fund, which looks to be aiming at a total of $2M in funds for investments. The fund--whose General Partners include Steve Sadlacek, Mary Andrews, and Denise Dunlap, according to the filing--has so far taken funds from seventeen investors. Dunlap is head of the Boise TECenter, which runs a startup acceleration program and Andrews is director of Boise State University's University and Industry Ventures Team. The fund has not announced any details on its efforts.
