A new, government focused accelerator--based in Washington, DC--says it is specifically looking for startups from Denver and Boulder to apply for its program. According to the Dcode42 accelerator, its program is focused on bridging the gap and connecting private sector innovation with the federal government, and specifically looking for big data and analytics companies whose innovations could change the way the government uses data. Companies from anywhere an apply, but the accelerator said it is specifically reaching out to startups in such startup-friendly centers like Denver and Boulder. Applications are due on September 2nd. Boulder is home to the modern startup accelerator movement, thanks to the efforts of such startup accelerators as Techstars and Boomtown.
