Thornton, Colorado-based Ascent Solar, the thin-film photovoltaic module developer, said today that it is powering a set of products for automotive battery charging, via a joint development partner, CTC CarTech Company. The firm said its solar modules are being used by CTC CarTech in a set of solar chargers used for automotive battery cycling & trickle charging. Financial impact of the deal were not announced.
