AMI Launches Transceiver Hardware Line
Pocatello, Idaho-based AMI Semiconductor said this morning that it has launched a new transceiver for the industrial equipment market. The firm said its new ASSP family transceiver is for use with long-wire and low baud rate Controller Area Networks, used for the automation and factory control market. The new component can be used for such applications as elevators, security monitoring, building controll, process control, HVAC, and other applications. AMI is a developer of mixed signal and digital products for automotive, medical, industrial, military and other markets.
